1. Sor Singyu (TBE)
2. Ward
3. GGG
4. Crawford
5. Loma
6. Rigo
7. Gonzalez
8. Thurman
9. Inoue
10. Canelo
11. Yamanaka
12. Kovalev
13. Pac (too inactive against top competition lately, but if we are going simply by resume then he is at the top without a doubt).
If Beterbiev keeps his streak i think he will join this list soon, same for Briedis, Spence and Joshua.
Don't really understand this Pacquiao hasn't fought top opposition recently mentally. Bradley and Vargas in the past 14 months seem pretty decent to me. Especially considering you have Rigo at 6 when his last 14 months have consisted of a no contest against Flores and a win over Jazza Dickens.
People not putting Spence in there but he has the best single win at 147 and managed to stop Brook, Thurman has more wins but he didnt look as impressive against Porter as Brook did

Thurman is way too high, on paper he has good wins but his performances recently havent been that good, he took too many rounds off to Garcia so he lost about 4 or 5, lost about 4 or 5 to Porter, Thurman shouldnt be top 6 he lacks world class performances
Ward's win and performance over Kovalev puts him at the top.
I thought Chocolatito won his last fight close, just like Golovkin; it's not a good a win as Wards but not much worse than GGG against Jacobs, and he was #1 for a while so he doesn't get bumped down for anything other than getting beat by Ward on best recent win and form.
Crawford above GGG because he beat names just as good at 140 but looked better. GGG won a close one over Jacobs but was still on a good run of form going in.
Lomachenko beat up Walters and Martinez in style. Him, GGG, and Crawford are pretty close.
Thurman established himself as the welterweight with the best recent resume with wins against Porter and Garcia.
Kovalev is still an elite Light-Heavyweight, so while he drops because of the loss/losses, he retains some staying power. But the way he performed towards the end of his last fight definitely takes some of the luster off of his status in the division.
Canelo has a solid resume but Khan, Smith, and Chavez Jr. following the Cotto fight hasn't done much to advance his status. Kovalev arguably beating Ward and competing with him evenly before a controversial ending in the rematch is still enough to keep him above.
Spence just got an awesome win against Brook. But it was very competitive and its his first solid win. So that win is enough to propel him into the top 10 but the fighters above him are much more established. Beating Thurman will propel him further. And Mikey Garcia looked great knocking out Zlaticanin, in amazing form and with a better win than either Rigo or Pac have recently.
- Undefeated for 11 years. 12 title defenses. All styles. Best at the weight. No ducking. Immediate rematches. Fights of the year. God's left.
And not even a mention... What did I do wrong?
Maybe harsh on Kov, but i lost a lot of faith in him with that last fight, low blows or not. He has clear limitations that he didnt address, and now he needs to prove himself again before getting back in. He stayed in the top 3 when he lost to Ward first time because it was razor close, so thats what i have done with Choco aswell as i thought he won his fight. Choco was no.1 not long ago but based on him being in a few close fights in a row, and other fighters looking dominant, he has moved down the list. Mikey will be top 5 soon enough, he just needs the opposition. On eye test he would be there already
I am a big Inoue fan, but this seems to be a bit of hivemind with all of you having him top 10, he isn't in there yet, and I think a lot of you just put him in there because others do
He's destroyed some pretty good fighters tbf. And soundly beaten some others. Though i would concede he is still waiting for a signature win. Who would you put in his place?
Feeling weird for leaving Manny out. Got spanked by Floyd but so would everyone else at 147. Spence's KO win over Brook puts him into the top 10 undoubtedly. Surprised not a lot have him in, not to mention it was FOTY so far and he gutted it out and won.
Ehhhh yea on second thought that's actually a good point I guess. But unfortunately He already beat Bradley convincingly once before so the third fight didn't really add to his resume and Vargas is a gatekeeper/fringe world class type of fighter, a respectable name on anyone's resume except the top tier fighter like Pac/Floyd. But perhaps i made Pac a victim of his own success and judged him a little too harshly and blamed Rigo's bad luck on everyone but him.
It's a running gag from when Singyu beat Gonzalez and everyone was joking about how he is the new p4p number 1 lol. Can't believe you took it seriously haha

AJ-Klit was a better fight. Why Spence ahead of Thurman? Thurman beat Danny co9mfortaly and has the Porter win along with solid wins over the likes of Chaves. AJ's win over Wlad is better than Spence's over Brook so I'd have AJ above Spence.
My updated top 10 pound for pound. Pacquiao is out. Even though he should have won the fight against Horn, he looked very bad in this fight. I believe that age has finally caught up with him. I would not longer have him in my top 20 pound for pound, at this point.
1. Andre Ward
2. GGG
3. T. Crawford
4. Chocolatito
5. V. Lomachenko
6. G. Rigondeaux
7. Canelo Alvarez
8. S. Kovalev
9. M. Garcia
10. N. Inoue
