I really couldn't care less about either of these clowns, but it begs the question. I honestly won't be surprised if it does. This is where we're at, not just as a sport, but as a society. Get your cyanide capsules ready, folks.

Well there are plenty of idiots in America and you have to be an idiot to like either of them, so it is very possible a lot of idiots would buy this. I'm still going with no though

That will be some sad shit if it does. Though my guess is that it will be some super cheap internet thing.

I think a lot of you are underestimating the power of social media and the potential for crossover appeal.

However, I'm hoping to be proven wrong.

In other "boxing" news, Mickey Rourke is about to have another "fight" lined up over in Russia. Help, I can't find the smiley for the guy blowing his brains out.

There is about a .0001% chance of this happening. Soulja Boy is an attention whore that has nothing going on in his life and Chris Brown is just retarded. I can't see either embarrassing themselves.

Royalty, named for his daughter, also tallies Brown's best sales week for an album since 2011's F.A.M.E., which moved 270,000 in its debut week. On the Billboard 200, Royalty is No. 3 with 184,000 album equivalent units, his sixth album to hit the chart's top five.
So more people are gonna pay watch Chris Brown fight some washed up junkie one hit wonder than would to listen to him Sing? And pay more then what an album costs?

Tysons training Chris Brown and Floyd is training Soulja Boy. They could probably make this sell but it's only 3 rounds so I doubt it's a stand alone PPV. Well let's hope not...

Maybe, I don't know. Just saying I won't be surprised. I'm eager to be proved wrong!

I was just thinking how sad it would be if this outperforms legitimate fights. It's already getting plenty of mainstream attention, which is really all it takes. If they're smart they'll make it a relatively cheap PPV. Either way, I'm sure they'll do fine.

Yes. People don't buy albums now.

Good to see you can read.

I'm willing to bet the demographic that cares enough about either of these two to watch this fight is young and urban. You know, the same demographic that knows the internet really, really well and gets all their music and movies for free.

Buys will be horrible. Views, will be a little less horrible.

Indeed, this thought crossed my mind as well. Basically "millennials" don't pay for shit and don't care.
