When you throw a hook...

    Alright so let say you throw a right hook. So you pivot on your right foot inwards, right? So should you also pivot on your left foot outwards or should you have your left foot planted? And also, should you be on your toes on your left foot as well?

    Reason I'm askin is, when I throw a hook I feel some pressure on the knee of my non-pivoting foot (left foot if I'm throwing a right hook).
