Fair enough, I was just guessing really, I've only been to the Meadowbank ones. Yeah it's well out of town, and the complete opposite direction to Prestonpans where he's from, a fair trek to get home if you're from there. Problem is Edinburgh doesn't really have the venues. Meadowbank is central but small and also closing for a refurb, a couple of theatres that won't do sport, the Showground which is well out of the way, the Castle which is a hard one to arrange and only works for late July when the seating is set up, then its the stadiums which are too big for now. I can see them taking the next one to Glasgow again.

I didn't mate, was working. I live near Taylor but work right in city centre, did think it was a nice touch having it there though, his true home town.

Shouldn't think much work was getting done in prestonpans that day as a few people I spoke too should have been at work, thought a nice touch was having local school kids out supporting their local hero.

It's fucking mad to think there's no big, or even semi decent sized indoor arenas in Edinburgh. Glasgow's got loads.

Isn't there another room at the Highland centre that can hold 12k?

That's pretty much as big as they'll ever need

Everywhere. Pretty much every pub and bar is a pop up venue, and the gardens dotted around city become huge pop up venues for the month.

Whichever one wins is fine, Euro belt and rankings boost is too good to pass up

Yigit's rankings are mad really, 3 of the orgs have him right up there

Yeah that's realistic, but these things always take longer than you imagine, Kell Brook was a year or two after the point where he could fill Brammal Lane, for the right fight Frampton could have filled a stadium the last two Summers in a row but still hasn't done it yet. But yeah Summer 19 is realistic to assume he can fill it, just depends on timing and how the fights pan out. Hatton's another, could have filled the stadium a couple of years before he actually did.
