I reckon he was standing there talking to Froch or McCracken or someone and then the cameras started rolling and someone shouted at him to get out the way. So he panicked and and just dived to the floor where he was. Once he got down there he thought it would be awkward to stand up and leave and didn't want to get in the way so he remained there.

 How did I miss this thread!?!

Full credit to Danny for bringing this up earlier, how was this dude a flyweight? Was he like 3 foot or something?

I looked him up on boxrec and they listed him as a bantamweight but they had no weights for him through most of his career, looks like he was fly for most of it. Can't have been much over 5 foot!

This guys record was better before, they should have left it alone instead of filling in the blanks: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=1410&cat=boxer

Previously it was debut v Roberto Duran LTKO2

Then second and final fight against Michael Moorer LTKO2
That is an odd record. I wonder how many people could say they've been stopped by both a lightweight champ and a heavyweight champ...
