I would imagine it will be DeGale v Martin Murray

Not totally sold on Callum, could possibly come unstuck but Dirrell ain't great.

Groves & DeGale beat them both for me.

    Smith-Eubank would be fantastic.

Let's get it on - Callum's career has gone nowhere the last 18 months, let's see how good he really is.

Great fight, should answer a lot of questions about Callum. If this is going on the Santa Cruz-Mares II card as suggested, it really will be a fantastic bill.

Was going to suggest DeGale-Uzcategui co-maining a PPV card but I just remembered the latter is scheduled to fight Andre Dirrell.

Hopefully this means no July ppv unless Hearn ends up with Whyte-Parker with Degale against God knows who ppv but that would be very weak.

Thats this weekend but maybes they want to to keep Degale back and see what happens in that fight and with Groves next week.

If Groves wins then v Degale PPV later in the year. If Groves loses then onto the mandatory v Dirrell/Uzcategai with a view of doing the Smith fight next year.

I can understand Callum has to wait a bit longer than usual given Jack tried to unify but a date 17 months after his final eliminator is poor. Even the purse bid will be over 6 months ago by September

Is Callum going to employ the Joe G ''do nothing for six rounds'' tactics and try and get him late. If he does he will probably lose.

Nah,that's not Callum's style at all is it.

He may counterpunch more to start off with but crolla, quigg and Liam smith were cases specific to them.

    That would be terrific.

I honestly don't think De Gale takes the fight this soon. Many won't agree but I think Eubank Jr wins.

So that's just about everyone on here writing Jnr off in this one?
I think he'd stand a decent chance if he gets on Degale's chest and tests his staying power.
Degale aint all that IMO, good but not great.

There's something fundamentally wrong with a Smith brother and the word "class" being in the same sentence, unless the word "No" was somewhere in between.

Degale-Eubank is an intriguing fight if it happens. You have to fancy Chunky but Jr is a live dog

Eubank obviously has his flaws but Degale has made mediocre fighters look good for years because of his tendency to switch off and take rests. He also stands in the pocket a lot more than you'd think and isn't particularly good defensively.
