But you were fine with May fighting Alberto.

Damn. What in the world is the point of this exactly? Hell, if he's going to fight outside of the US & Macau, why not fight Brook or Khan in the UK?

Is Pacquiao retiring after this or is he fighting Ricky Burns? Both would lose to Andre Berto.

No not really. I thought Mayweather was BSing when he stated he was considering Berto and Mayfield. I also refused to buy the PPV, though I did go to the movie theater to watch it. I had significantly less problems with that fight than this one because Mayweather had announced he was retiring and that fight was to close out his Showtime contract. If that showtime contract didn't exist, Mayweather probably would have packed up and quit after MayPac.

Pacquiao on the other hand is supposedly still active and has indicated he will remain active for the foreseeable future. He also holds a title belt. If he wants to be a world champion, he should fight world championship level opposition. Jeff Horn isn't championship caliber opposition and he turned down a chance to prove he was against Errol Spence.

Didn't know the U.S and Middle East were in the running. Australia would bring in a better gate the U.S would be pissed off he didn't fight Crawford.

Ha Mayweather had already retired once, no one knew (or even knows) if Alberto was his last fight.

He could come back this year against Broner and you, Atlanta, and Michigan would be sitting front row at the theater sharing popcorn and gummy bears.

He's still active but he's on the way out, beating Horn does nothing for his legacy, and I'm sure as fuck not buying this PPV if they sell it.

This is pretty much an exhibition fight. Arum says it himself. I'm just finding it funny that Floyd supporters where defending Floyd when he did this and now they're trying to give Pacquiao shit.

Pacquiao fighting Jeff Horn or Mayweather fighting Andre Berto isn't as bad as George Foreman fighting five guys in Toronto and having 30 million people watching on television:

Now that I think about it, I'd actually love to see Mayweather or Pacquiao fight five guys in one night

oh dear. this is a pure money making exercise. the equivalent of a premiership football player signing to a US team for the last year of his career for a nice pay cheque.

Fucking dumbasses acting like Pac should still fight dangerous opponents. Pac has done more than enough for his career and is now cashing out. Unless Arum is using your money to pay Pacquiao, please shut the fuck up. Who gives a shit if you watch it not.

Good retirement fight for an old warrior who's past his prime by several years and should have retired if not for his money grubbing promoter and hanger ons.
