And yet here you are making a thread about him.
I'm bored of boxing vs mma talk.
He's by far the biggest thing in combat sports by now. Of course boxing media is going to talk about him. He is more relevant to the wider audience and generates more clicks than anyone else they're talking about.
Holyfield has called him out today too
Paulie wants 5 million ? nice one Paulie
McGregor would make him cry at the press conference. I like Paulie but he goes from zero-to-whiny bitch at world record pace.
Paulie is not worthy, his style stinks no way around it.
mcg would take more than his side piece
I like McGregor for what he does in the ring, and his mentality... also the way he behaved after his loss made me a fan.
I get that casuals buy into this trash talking but it´s not something I enjoy tbh...... well, yeah it´s fun sometimes , as long as he keeps it in the pre-fight...
I have always been real unimpressed with this mayweather bullshit tbf
I am Irish and McGregor is just a slabbering cunt ......................he was a novelty because of it at the start now hes just a dickhead trying to keep himself noticed like Losey Rousey used to do .
He is shite
He also fights, and wins. So there is that.
not for much longer !!
Likewise. I still think it is nothing but a publicity stunt. But from that point of view it has worked a treat. Money can't buy the sort of coverage this farce has received.
there are fools actually calling for this fight. I'm betting this is the sort of bloke who's thinking maybe it would be cool to have the celebrity apprentice host as president.
Aside from not being Irish, I will have to agree with the rest of this post. He's out there throwing things in the air and hoping some of it gets noticed to keep him relevant in some way. A good amateur boxer would take him apart much less a former undefeated world champion.
And as far as Paulie, I really believe the feather-fisted fellow of Italian descent could beat the wee Irishman in the boxing ring. Paulie can't punch, but he sure can box.
he sparred with an amateur boxer to get ready for the Diaz rematch and was picked apart with ease !!
even think about it he used an amateur boxer as a sparring partner to get ready for a professional MMA match !!
As for him and Floyd in a boxing match ,well thats just been followed on from Lousey who used Mayweather for publicity and to get headlines and McGregor has carried on ,but now its took a turn for reality because all the promoters , matchmakers and Las Vegus venues see the potential for a real big money making promotion and are jumping on it ,and angling for it even though it will be a crap match ........................plus it will never come off unless Mayweather gets it all his way !! if it ever is a reality !!
There are fools calling for the fight and even bigger fools expecting it would be a good contest.
It is a good publicity stunt - but nothing more.
