After a long drawn out courtship between teams Parker and Joshua that included pursuit, evasion, a very public auction the over terms and insult & counter insult, this fight is finally about to be announced.

Put a line under March 31st in your calendar, because barring any last minute hiccup, that will be the date and Principality Stadium the venue.

So, Joseph Parker versus Anthony Joshua, the guy "selling his title" versus the "big glass robot."

    Who you got and how?

Where's the AJ on points option?

    :good

I've got AJ on points but I think it will be close, possibly even a split result with 2 cards going to AJ & 1 card to JP.

I think those predicting an AJ beat-down might be in for a surprise.

I think the result will determine a rematch will be required.

Joshua points. The Takam fight was a premature stoppage IMO and Joseph has Samoan blood running through him. Tough nuts the Islanders but Joshua is more skilled.

I agree that AJ wins, but I don't think he can stop Parker and if he tries too hard to KO him, he might just come unstuck. If Joshua understands that it's a 12 round fight before the first bell and boxes accordingly, then he'll win convincingly. But I'll bet Parker is bang up for this, a very live dog!

I think he can and will stop Parker. Parker is easier to hit than Takam, and Takam's size helped him roll and slip a lot of straight shots. But Parker is 6ft 4", come forward and easy to hit. He will be walking right into 1-2's from the offset, and it will slow him down and bust him up pretty quickly...at which point he will become static and there's very little chance that his chin is good enough to soak up a barrage of shots from AJ.

But...it would be great to see Parker spark him.

He not knocking anyone out now though, a step up in competition and his power has vanished.

Agreed 100%. There's a reason AJ by decision lay at +550.

I anticipate it turning into a firefight early and both men getting their shots in but eventually AJ should overcome him.
