Okay, well I want to start off with my ambition. My ambition is to become a Boxing world champion (I bet 1000s of kids have the same aim, but I'm different.) Not only a World Champion but a global icon around the whole world... Now after you read the rest of this thread you will probably laugh at how unrealistic my ambititiion is. BUT I'm being deadly serious. I'm dreaming big and nobody can make me dream any lower. Now after that I want to tell you a bit about me. I'm 16 years old, 5ft 7 and weigh 10.4 stone (145.6 lbs), I'm right handed (Orthodox Stance) I live in the UK and up to yet I have 0 experience in Boxing nor fighting, I've never been in a fight. I'm confident but shy at the same time, if that makes sense? To people I'm shy but to myself I'm very confident, I believe I can do whatever I want in life, and I give 100% in absolutely everything. Also, something else to note is I have Nystagmus which means my eyes move around a lot without me noticing, and as a result to that I have bad eyesight. I currently were contact lenses, although I can see okay without contact lenses. Reading this I bet you think I have no chance of making it as a Boxer, but the major trait I have in my favour is I have heart. I have a massive heart, and I never ever give up at anything. Also I like to think that I'm a Perfectionist, I like to do everything to the very best I can and I take pride in this. Okay, for the last 6-7 years I've been following certain Boxers, for example, Floyd Mayweather, Ricky Hatton, Amir Khan etc. But this past year since the start of 2014, I have been following Boxing religiously. I know the punches like Jabs, cross, hook etc. I see what Boxers do and the respect that I have for Boxers is unreal. I want to learn more about Boxing, and I want to learn everything. I have a Punch bag, weights, bench etc in my Garage which I go to everyday. I can see results of getting in shape, but I know I am nowhere near the shape of a Boxer, yet. But I want to learn Boxing, I want Nutritional and Training advice. And I want your advice to know what I should do now. I want a list equitment you think I shouold buy and how much I should train, and how I should train. At the moment I'm only training in my garage until I think I am ready to join a proper Boxing club. Please any help/ advice/ motivation you could give me would be hugely appreciated!
