How to know when you have hip rotation down perfectly?

    I use cues to get it down. e.g like put the cigarette out.


    1 cue gives me super fast punches that arnt heavy.

    1 cue gives me super heavy punches that arnt fast.



    This leaves me in despair because I know which is right or what to do to progress. Its sooo hard I try soooo much and all I get is this confusing result. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
