    Day 60

    No training, good on the die though. Dropped the carbs down low. Started replacing high carb fruit with low carb fruit. It is a hard thing to do, carb foods are filling and getting round that with ease is difficult. Had four sausages for dinner, lean buggers again with the fat content of the four coming in at a total of 9g. Ate some tuna for lunch and filled the rest of the day with a few nuts and a yogurt. Snacked on some chicken that was on offer in the super market, just cooked strips of flavoured chicken breast so I bought a load which will sort my snacking out for the next day or so.

    Feeling OK. In a determined mind now the Christmas cheer is here. Really think I can crack the keeping to a mega tight diet til we hit the big couple of Christmas days. I've a little trip set for the 22nd so my eating will drop like a mofo right then and I cant wait. My weight has dropped quite well, shirts look good and I need to buy a couple of pairs of jeans. If I can get a solid month of gym training in I can see me looking the best I've looked for years. Need to tone up my biceps, they are a decent size but I want that boulder and in my shoulders. Chest looking decent, again a little more tone and mass and I'll be happy. Genuine happy too when that happens.

    Day 61

    Very good day. Snacked on the left overs of my chicken, loads of berries and nuts and a huge bag of jerky. For lunch I had a think slice of pizza, which left me starving quite quick. Later on I had a load of bacon medallions. Great workout at the gym, not quite a full one but enough for me to feel very happy about.

    Day 62-63

    The weekend, always a time for big plans but few results. Admit that Sunday was a complete blow out and cheat day so nil points. Saturday was decent, no exercise, diet was OK. Skipped food all morning apart from a bag of jerky and a few pieces of fruit. Good bit of gammon and pineapple once I got in from the kids football. My intention had been to get in and do so,e housework before a trip to the gym. Due to me being freezing I came home had lunch, watched football on the TV then had dinner before settling down and watching crap TV and a film. Dinner was good, chicken breast with hot peppers and veg. The film involved me having a few chocs and sweets, very few but enough to knock points off.

    Day 65:
    I. Am. Struggling.

    Last week got off to a running start and once again, after a 6 point Monday, a 3 point eating Tuesday, a long, hard, physically gruelling day at work did two things; it prevented me from having enough time to work out, which is the worst thing in terms of motivation, and it made me want to sit down for a well earned beer (as I couldn't work out anyway... and for fuck's sake, it's not a crime)...

    The failing here is that I know myself. One beer is never one beer, and hangovers are absolute killers for my motivation to diet and work out. I drank until about 3am, got utterly spannered, and spent the entire following day being fucking pathetic and ate terribly. I can throw a 2 point day in there for the Thursday, but since then all I've done is hammer beers after long days at work and eat shit food. December at work is insane so I must expect the long days, and be able to forgive myself for missing a few workouts. But the drinking and eating shit food is something I need to get on top of. Even if I limited it to weekends. It's completely fucking me up.

    Got a mate arriving from the UK in a week, the goal is to steady the ship a little before he arrives.

    Got into the gym tonight for 20 minutes on the incumbent bike followed by a shoulder/bicep circuit, consisting of 3x8 shoulder presses, front shoulder raises, shoulder flyes, front barbell pull-ups, ez bar curls, cross body curls and hammer curls.

    I'll add 2 points to my total for last Thurs and 2 points for today's workout. Eating today was shit.

    @RappingKungFuToaster know how you feel. Can't seem to crack on and do this right. The benefit do see is by being accountable on here I at least have a bit of focus to get a few good moments in. Think I'd had spiralled way off track and stopped training completely and ate like a mother fucker without posting in here.

    I feel sharper and light. Need to et myself weighed. REALLY NEED TO HIT THE WEIGHTS.

    Day 64

    Diet wise I pretty much kept on track. Felt awful all day though. Flu going round and though I'm not having the typical flu symptoms my skin feels wretched? Did plan on grabbing the weights in the living room, didn't due to my skin feeling like ballsacks covered in sap. Ate berries, apples and satsumas during the day with the only mess up coming when the wife made me a slice of cheese on toast. Ate two lovely looking steaks for dinner and had a yogurt late on.

    Day 65-66-67

    Twat in law stayed a few days to mess up the familes daily routines. Did manage a couple of bits of light cardio, but the twat messed up my plans for a gym session on Wednesday. Think I pissed the gimp off by not having a takeaway from the Chinese like he insists on when he comes over. That day I ate 4 lean mince 1/4lb beef burgers, they were stunning and only 3.9g of fat each...I finished the plate with a load of spinach. I ate very little over the three days and was left lethargic and hungry...who'd have guessed? Tuesday's meal was a couple of chicken breast with a light spicy topping. Thursday I had a Cottage pie, light on the mash topping and heavy on the meat with a load of spinach again.

    Oh, I have no doubt that this has absolutely helped me minimize the harm at this ridiculous time of year. Especially that super strict October. I shudder to think how fucked I'd be if I hadn't done that.

    I am getting absolutely killed at work. It was 63 hours last week, 70 hours this week just gone, with 48 of those hours condensed into three days. I just can not work out when it is this hectic at work, especially given that I'm up on my feet the whole time (although this certainly helps me burn calories too)... the eating has been terrible, so the priority has changed to strictly watching my diet this week... we had some bad luck with people leaving work in the busiest time, so this last week isn't how it will be for the remainder of the work year, but I don't see how I'll get out of the next fortnight doing under 55 hours a go.

    My journal entries will definitely be fewer, but I'll do my best to renew my score as the days wear on, and hopefully do an end of year weigh in!

    Day 73:
    I slept and I fcking slept in preperation for another week of carnage, only to find out we've hired some new people and my week this week shouldn't be quite so hectic.
    All the same, I'm not going to so much as set foot in the gym until at least Saturday.
    It was a typically heavy going Tuesday at work with huge deliveries and a lot of hauling of kegs and stock to do... Ate only a couple of small serves of fried squid for lunch, and for dinner I was soooo close to locking up a three point day, but fucked it at the last moment... went to the doner shop and got a doner pack with tabouli and Greek salad, which by itself would be alright in tandem with the eating/activity over the rest of the day... butg just before she closed the box I asked for added cheese... and boy howdy did she. The thing was covered in melted cheese by the time I got it home.
    So it was a day of heavy physical work, successful carb delpetion but overloaded on fat.

    Missed a couple of days updates. Didn't do much in them anyway so no problem. It was OK diet wise and had a minor amount of cardio. Not going to count it though because I likely fucked up and it'll count against me if I add points for guess work.

    Day 70

    Light day Saturday on the diet front, did mess it up on the carbs though which is a shame. Very good cardio session which is a bonus

    Day 71

    Nothing on the exercise which is crap because the kids football got cancelled so I had time on my hands. Instead I did nothing. Ate very well all day. Kept the carbs right down and had two chicken breasts for dinner with a light spicy sauce. Snacking on nuts and raisins plus a few other nice pieces of fruit.

    12/12/17

    Day 72

    Again light cardio, could have done more. I'm just ticking over which is crap. Ate well though. Pretty much skipped eating through the day so no pitfalls. Nuts and raisins got me through. Made up for it later with a great beef caserole, had some red onion and a few spices so it warmed me up after the snow we have this last week. Got a load of mango, pineapple and melon for a sweet after.


    So time to add this up.
